There were fruit and vegetable carving demonstrations, games, and souvenir sales. Of course, it the evening was fun as it was the first of two formal nights aboard the Regal Princess.
We requested formal dinners at a table of eight. From past experiences, we value the time meeting and getting to know fellow passengers. This trip is certainly no exception. We have been meeting with this group. Only six showed up. On the first night together we were a bit upset at the noisy table next to us. It was hard to converse, so we made sure to request a change. I think the maî·tre d' was a bit upset and got a table in the far corner for us for the rest of this trip. It's near a serving station but much quieter. We really like our present waiters, Carlito and Paulo.
Tonight's show was early. After dinner, we went down to the Promenade Deck for the champagne waterfall. Cruising is for me!
