Soon, we are heading to the YVR airport by SkyTrain. We have to take an Alaskan Air down to Seattle at around noon. In the late afternoon, we board an Emirates direct flight to Dubai, where we will stay for a 5 night/4 day stopover.
This entry will probably have to stand in for tomorrow's as well. We don't land until 7:40 PM on Thursday. The flight is 14 and a half hours. I think it is probably the longest, non-stop flight we've ever been on. In the old days, I took the Riyadh to New York flights a few times. Of course the Pacific Ocean is a pretty big stretch of water but flying between Hong Kong and here is only 13 and a half hours. I hope our seats are comfortable; that's a lot of sitting.
