Starting a new class on a Friday sounds weird, but it seems to have worked out okay. The turn-around time between classes was a bit short. However, I guess that ensured things didn't have time to cool off. It seems like I've jumped right from the skillet back into the fire.
I have taught at many levels over the years. I always thought my forte was working with beginners. Lately, though I've been working in COMM 0005 which is like an English GED, except with much more emphasis on business and technology. We focus a lot on writing. It is nice to often hear accolades from my classes about my skills. It just goes to prove that many have had educational experiences which weren't so great. Being good is better than being mediocre.
What a way to earn a living!
