I had 'Axe deo' written on my list. Once in the right section of the store, I scanned the enormous aisle of products. It does seem as though deodorant sticks have won out over sprays. I always felt as if Unilever's Axe brand sort of sneaked up and became my defacto standard. So, I decided to see what other options were available. Lo and behold there was hip, new Old Spice.
As a youngster, that brand was something given to one's father as a present. In subsequent years it became a name associated with old farts. Now, however, Old Spice seems rather modern and exciting. Kudos to the marketing firm that was able to pull off this one for Procter & Gamble. I am little excited for my old, can of Axe to give up the ghost, so I can spray on some Fiji.
