Appreciating the Little Things

 

I've never, ever loved going to Walmart as much as I did today! It was great just to get out of the apartment after our two weeks of confinement! Yesterday was our final day of in-house quarantine!  The four COVID-19 tests we've each had over the last three weeks have all been negative. 

It also seemed nice being able to do our own grocery shopping. During the past two weeks, we ordered from Instacart but nothing is as easy as picking out items in a physical store ourselves.

 

Uptown New Westminster around the mall was pleasant. We'd not been there since the beginning of November last year!  Coming back to our little city seems like a treat.  We have spent months in Playa del Carmen and Mazatlan, Mexico.  Returning to our life in British Columbia is exciting.  Variety is the spice of life.  We look around and see things differently because we've experienced different lives in the interim.  We love to travel and we love returning home too.
