On rare occasions, I post something that I've come across on the Internet. I usually do keep the kitten videos to myself though. I found this map of Pangea but with current political boundaries. I first remember seeing illustrations of the supercontinent when in junior high school. Yet, I don't think I had ever seen one which contained information about present-day countries and cities. It is fascinating to imagine the trip from Halifax, Canada to Casablanca, Morocco in the early Mesozoic era.
As I often tell my technical writing students, a good graphic may contain paragraphs of text. I found myself looking staring at the enlarged map for quite a while.
