Not Completely in the (Time) Zone Yet!

We're still hanging around getting up to speed. Things are mostly ready for our summer here.  However, if it takes a day to get rid of jet lag for each time zone travelled, we've still got a week to go!  ;-)

I even completed filing our taxes today. Canadians get until the end of April to finish the task, so I'm fairly early. We got our first Amazon delivery just a few hours after putting in the order. As well as a few medical supplements, I ordered a new plug-in carbon monoxide detector. We have our gas fireplace on because, of course, we are used to hotter outdoor temperatures than New Westminster is currently providing. It will get down to 7°C tonight.

As you can see, in this picture taken from the balcony, the towers along the riverside quay are nearing completion. Finally!
