Day 6 - It takes a while to sleep all day and stay up all night. That is essentially what we do when we travel from Vancouver to Sri Lanka. The clocks run twelve and a half hours earlier here. So, it's not just the flights that are tiring, getting one's body adjusted to the new schedule takes some time. Given our extra days in Turkiye, I think we're getting acclimated. I did wake up at 5:00 am but that's only an hour and a half before we usually get up in Sri Lanka. The birds and light make early birds of us too.
It was a pretty normal, uneventful day. Tasks included planting cassava, buying tickets for our February break to SE Asia with Jay's sisters, as well as ordinary, everyday sort of stuff. The day itself was pretty ordinary for November with a slightly foggy morning, a delightful day, and a late afternoon thunder shower. The temperatures started out at around 24C and reached a max of, perhaps, 31C.
