We started this summer season by visiting the Richmond guys for dinner at the end of March. Then, on Easter day, it was the turn of the West End gentlemen. Jay and I hosted the dinner in May before we flew off to France for a month.
So the rubber ducks were sitting in Richmond again. Even though the whole group will sail on a 7-day, Alaskan cruise in just eleven days, we met at Dover Court this evening.
With appetizers, we had sangria. The grilled meal included salad, peppers and mushrooms, pork, and sweet potatoes. For dessert, we were served lemon cake.
The ducks changed hands and we know that during August we'll get a chance to go to downtown Vancouver for another meal with these friends.
