We messaged and everybody got to New Westminster a little earlier than our initial request of 4:00 pm. It was a really great day and temperature records were broken. It was 30C (86F) this afternoon. It cools down at night, so Jay and I absolutely feel at home with the heat.
We walked over to the riverside park after a few snacks. Then, we used the pool and hot tub for a bit. The photo above shows the great dinner that Jay made. Dosas for guests take a lot of time to create but they were great with a little rice. More importantly, Jay's cream and peach cake was a hit for dessert. (Unfortunately, that means there will not be too much for me tomorrow!)
We gave the ducks to the Richmond gents, so our next dinner will take place at their place after we return from Nice, France at the end of next month. Oh, this was the first time there were three rubber ducks in the bag! We added our cruise-ship, rubber-duck find from last fall. When they host the next dinner, the ducks will move on ...
