Day 19 - It's a little hard to stay away from the sea when in Nice.
We were up at 8:00 but puttered around for a few hours before we left the apartment. Jay suggested we try taking Tram #2 back towards the airport as it's the other end of the large bay. Most of our walks so far have been to the east as that's towards the old town, Castle Hill, and the Old Nice Port. So, we really hadn't seen the middle area of the Promenade des Anglais.
Jay and I got out after several stops near the Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen. There wasn't a lot to differentiate that area from any other. It seemed like quite a long walk back to our area. However, that doesn't mean it was boring. I touched the water and it felt warm. The air temperature was 27° today but the breeze off the sea is cool and refreshing. We sat on benches and watched a parade of all sorts of folks out enjoying their own pleasant walks.
