Jay went to the Burnaby Rec Centre by SkyTrain this morning. I decided to put a little electricity in our EV at Queen's Park. I sometimes charge when we're shopping on Saturdays but both DC fast chargers were occupied last weekend at the Coquitlam Superstore.That seldom happens at our closest city DC fast-charging location. Our city's electrical department has two units conveniently inside Queen's Park. I always enjoy getting power there because it gives me a chance to get a bit of exercise.
So while my vehicle drinks up a little hydroelectrically-produced DC current, I get a stunning area to keep fit. That sounds like a win-win situation.
Today's temperature remained in the single digits. I had to look pretty hard to see signs of spring in the park. I was successful in both getting 16.023 kWh of power and seeing a few hints of this special time of year.
