Let me give you some background: While on a recent MSC cruise between Argentina and Brazil, we were always provided with bottled water in the main dining room. One evening, we accepted carbonated spring water rather than plain. Years ago, I'd sort of known and tried Perrier bottled mineral water, but I was never particularly impressed. And I somehow missed the recent hard-seltzer fad altogether. However, during that cruise dinner, I found I really enjoyed the extra bubbles.
Subsequently, I discovered that a SodaStream™ dispenser isn't just about making flavored pop! I began to understand I could simply add CO₂ gas to regular water and make it somewhat exciting. I admit the techy part of owning cylinders of carbon dioxide made it sound all the more enticing. I do realize that this unit is just a delivery system for them to sell proprietary canisters and bottles. Yet, I own a new Terra now.
Drink up. Oh, that tickles.
