Day 50 - From our balcony, we can see the front of Argentina's Congress at the far, far end of a very large park. I realized we'd not been to the area directly behind. We'd gone in that direction but never near the Congress itself.
So, for an evening walk, Jay and I got on the subway outside and travelled just two stops. We got off at a stop called Pasco.
It was a delightful evening. Jay remarked on how warm the sun was at 7:00 pm. The breeze never stops and keeps the city cool in the summer.
I get the impression that Buenos Aires is a series of neighbourhoods. We notice that each location is self-sufficient and there's little need for residents to travel far to get the necessities.
It's nice hanging around this city. I had absolutely no actual knowledge about the capital of Argentina before we started researching it for a long winter stay. I'm delighted to be here.
