Although that fly is endemic to only Africa, I've started to worry nearly every time I've come to Sri Lanka. I'm obviously prone to hypochondria. I sometimes have trouble getting enough deep sleep when at home in Canada. Yet, every time I stay here, I can sleep soundly for hours and hours.
My rational self knows that this condition is due to lessened responsibilities and a wonderfully warm climate. Afternoon naps become absolutely essential, sometimes for up to two hours! However, they don't affect my ability to still go to bed a 10:00 pm and sleep soundly until 7 o'clock in the morning!
We both sleep a lot and well when in Sri Lanka. We have noticed we're a hell of a lot like the Minuwangoda house cats!

Just finished a blog article about a train drive Ella-Nuwara under https://www.anchor.ch/gesellschaft/train-bleu-in-sri-lanka/
Thank you for the link. I just opened your Flickr email. I never think to look there either. Is it even available via the mobile app? Perhaps not. Anyway, I look forward to reading more in your blog!
Have a great day, stay, and life!
