What's going on? Have I turned this into a food blog? This is the third day in a row! We did some shopping at our usual Chedraui Supermarket here in Playa del Carmen. It has a better bakery section than Walmart or Aki. We have been big on making sandwiches with the 1.60 peso rolls. However, it's hard to say no to a few other purchases when inside.
Tonight, we'll be heading to 5th Avenue to witness all the crazy US millennial tourists who think COVID-19 is a joke. We will head toward the beach at around 10:30 pm. It takes about 15 minutes to walk, even if leisurely. I am pretty sure the whole pedestrian street of 5th Avenue will be full of partiers at midnight.
