We've bought many in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Bali. We saw some in a market in Fiji. I don't think we purchased any in Canada because I can recall seeing a price of $CA21 for a single fruit at our Canadian Superstore.
I remember writing about them on Facebook and discussing how they're related to 'custard apples' in India. I think a relative in Israel shared information about them. I read they were native to this part of the world. I knew I might have quite a number of postings about them in this blog.
This site, my eJournal and images, has a useful and powerful search function. (In fact, you may slide to the bottom of this page and type anything into a search bar found there.)
I set out to see how many times I'd included the word 'soursop' in a daily entry. As we've spent a whole lot of time in the tropics, I just assumed there'd be countless instances. I found only two.
I wondered if I'd just mentioned tropical fruit and had included pictures. That only netted an additional three.
So this is only the sixth entry but has the brand-new keyword label of soursop.
