Syncing Summer Schedules

We now spend five months of winter away each year. This upcoming winter will be our third time doing so. One aspect of staying just seven months of a year at home is that there are a lot of specific errands which must sync up. For example, we need only seven months of truck insurance, or utilities such as phone and Internet. I broke a home insurance policy a few years back, so that we can now renew it during summers.

One situation where it's good to schedule face-to-face meetings is with one's banker. Today, we went to our bank as many of Jay's account decisions come up for renewal about now. Mine seem mostly scheduled at the beginning of July. We are even moving most all our financial dealings to a single institution. I don't think I've had most of my money in one bank, well ... since I had any!

I may be a laissez-faire guy in some aspects of life, but I enjoy over-administering many small details of it.


We also picked up our e-ticket packet for next month's cruise while uptown.
