Yet we had another beginning-of-the-summer, New Westminster tradition to do. We didn't make it to Queen's Park last weekend, on the Canadian three-day weekend. So, this morning we went to see the animals in the petting zoo. They'd now had a week to get acclimated. It is great to roam around watching the humans with their kids and goats with theirs too.
The Queen's Park Rose Garden is next door. I chatted with a nice older couple who had just downsized from their place in Coquitlam to an uptown condo high-rise. It is nice to see one's city from others' perspectives. They said they already love New Westminster too.
