Satisfaction Guaranteed

Next week, Jay and I both celebrate the first anniversary of our final days at work. We took early retirement a whole year ago! I was going to wait before mentioning this milestone here in my eJournal and images. Today, though, I found myself spending a few minutes on a special task.

I always made a promise to students near the end of my courses. I would tell them that if any ever needed to have an important document checked; such as a cover letter, they could always contact me. There would be no time limit on my willingness to help.


It was a pleasure to get one such request this week. A student who was completing COMM 0005 exactly a year ago, asked if I could look over some supporting documentation for entry into a tough, full-time BCIT program. I felt lucky and honoured to oblige.
