Still, I am feeling like a real pro with the newest Windows now. I have never understood the resistance that some people show when dealing the new software or web design changes. To me this is a part of what keeps an individual adaptable with a youthful brain.
I have to admit that I have come to admire many of the changes in the newest Windows. Overall, getting set up was quite easy. This is mostly because we now do so much on via the Internet nowadays. For example, as soon as I logged onto Chrome all my favourites/bookmarks were automatically present. Even the majority of my passwords went along with the ride, save for the few banking websites.
I did have to convince Microsoft that my instructor's copy of Office 2013 wasn't being stolen. I'd already installed on several computers, so it coughed at the idea of a third installation on the new one. Of course as this just replaces equipment that is no longer working, I'm entitled to run another copy. The automated telephone call was a breeze although it may not be so easy for the math challenged. There surely were a lot of numbers to share.
