One great thing about the weather off the Pacific is that a front can sometimes blow through quickly. By 12:30 pm, on the way back to the truck, the sky was bright blue and the spring birds chirping. After getting home, I needed to walk across the street to a postal outlet. I'd neglected to mail a few of the students' assignments. They brought in advertisements from newspapers which had a postal address. They needed to write a routine request for more information. Most of the students brought in a stamped envelop and those were mailed yesterday. I had to buy stamps for the remaining six or so.
When walking back across the street, I decided to take a photo of a downtown NewWest street pole banner against the backdrop of the Met Hotel. The heritage 1892 building behind a statement of New Westminster as an original downtown seemed appropriate. What is the term which means the opposite of a juxtaposition?
