Leaping from One to 5

Okay, I was hardly naughty at all this year, but Santa didn't stop here! My building has sufficient space on the roof for his reindeer and sleigh. My gas fireplace vents out the side wall rather than having a chimney, so this may explain his omission. Or perhaps he contracts out to UPS or FedEx. It seems they've had quite a bit of trouble getting people's goods delivered on time this year.

To solve the sadness caused by my lack of presents, I just visited the Google Play Store. I've reluctantly decided that my original Nexus One is no longer cutting the mustard. I found a blog entry indicating I was waiting for its delivery in June of 2010. Therefore, I take comfort in knowing I managed to get three and a half years out of it.

I will be skipping quite a few generations of Google's flagship phone. I hope my Nexus 5 will arrive before the New Year.
