I'm a born
'saver'. I think it's human to be a collector of one thing or another. Luckily, for years I used to move frequently, often even changing countries. This kept any collections to a minimum. Now, we live in an apartment which is less than 800 sq ft. Other than the storage in the apartment, the only space I own is where I park the truck.

Perhaps the underlying frustration at not being able to have lots of junk, has led me to be a bit of an digital collector. I still have
WordStar word processing files from the mid 1980's. I've also got thousands of digital photos and years of blog entries.
Yet contrary to my inclinations, I just completely deleted all work email. I got rid of all those folders I had carefully created over the years. I now have just three of four messages on the BCIT system. These are all current messages but everything else is gone.
I feel completely unburdened. I should have done this years ago!
