During a morning walk, I noticed this reno on a 'heritage' house in my neighbhourhood. We all need a little work now and then, don't we?
My new reno hobby is trying to get back into a little better shape. I'm sorry if I put similar material in this blog but hey, wait a minute! This is primarily a personal journal and I mostly write in this space for my future self. Documenting my own life comes naturally to me and I never say anything here that I wouldn't share with a public group. So no apologies are necessary. I guess I've been Canadian for a long time now.
Anyhow, I changed up my walking route today. I'm trying to spend an hour walking at least three times a week. We live on a hill, actually, my city is completely a hill. So, I can get my heart rate pumping within a few meters of the front door. However, I don't think I'd have nearly as much motivation if it weren't for my Fitbit statistics. I'll put today's walk stats here again. If I can burn an extra 600 calories by just walking then I can definitely garner a deficit for the day. Here are some stats from my time out today:
