Today allowed us to catch up on washing. Nearly the entire washer load contained things I wore when we were in Negombo over the New Year.
We also did some computer research, while checking with a local travel agent to see if we could manage a short February trip to Singapore and Thailand with Jay's sisters. His younger sister travelled there once with friends years ago. It would, however, be a completely new experience for the elder sister, who is my age. Thailand is another predominantly Buddhist country, so religious places would be of interest. Bangkok is an immense city and we could easily spend an entire vacation in the city. Flying around Asia is cheap and relatively quick.
It was easy to slip back into a schedule here at the house. The morning starts early because it gets light early in the morning. Some work starts before breakfast. Lunch is usually before 1:00 pm. Our days always include a short siesta in the afternoon. (For that matter, days at home do too.) Dinners are a bit later but bedtime before 10:30. That will pretty much be how today turns out as well.
