Day 48 - I'm including the picture of the water purifier. They've had this standard one for a few years. It is a product of Unilever India and these are common in Sri Lanka. The water from the well is probably perfectly safe, but the water that's run through its filters is guaranteed clean and germ-free. We use it primarily just for drinking water.A kit usually lasts about eight months of regular use. Then, one can replace the filters. It was just about time to replace and the other day, we had a problem getting the old cartridge out. Apparently, during the last change, Jay's sister incorrectly installed a large plastic wingnut. We couldn't remove the old cartridge and didn't want to force and break any plastic parts.
The good thing about this company is that they have free service on the products forever. It did take two days before the repair guy could get here, but as he had experience, he expertly did the job. To play it safe, we boiled the water in the interim.
So, the house will be all set until next summer, at least water-wise.
This is the only image I snapped today. I spent much more of my day creating AI images. While in Dubai, I didn't have time to bother using Midjourney. However, now I have plenty of time to encourage a bit of my creative talents. I added six images created today to a 2023 album of my AI-generated virtual photos.
