Tomorrow We'll Head to the City

Day 15 - Today the weather changed a bit. For the first day since arriving, we aren't expecting an evening thunderstorm. We need some sunny days to dry out the lower part of the property. There's a stream that skirts the edge of the property but it's been so rainy that the land itself is unusually wet in that lower corner of the yard.

   

It was a degree warmer than the usual temperature today. 

We're going to travel tomorrow. We won't be going on a trip; we'll just be going to stay with Jay's elder sister in Nugegoda. She returned to her home a few days ago and I'm sure has been doing far too much cooking in preparation of our stay. Nugegoda is a large municipality near Colombo. We can order food by app and have it delivered within minutes. However, I'm sure Jay's sister will prefer to serve us home cooking. Shhhh! She really is the best cook in the family!  It will be fun to stay five or six days close to the capital.
