When Spitting Isn't Impolite

I took a picture of the two, small boxes with outgoing Canada Post delivery stickers on them. They were on the dining table.  I was going to use the image here because I almost always put a picture in my daily blog posts. In fact, yesterday's had twelve!  However, as a bunch of tracking numbers were clearly visible on the labels, I reconsidered. 

I used AI to create today's image, instead. Let me assure you it was designed to be artistic rather than scientific.

   

My opinion of taking a personal DNA test has changed over the course of the last few years. The privacy implications are of little concern to me today. I don't have a real desire to begin looking up my genealogy either. Let the dead rest.  

Amazon Canada had a huge sale on AncestryDNA kits.  I ordered one for Jay and one for me.

I simply feel it'll be interesting to see the results. And, with all the additional tests administered since I first thought about it, the quality of the data will have improved.  I do not expect that I will uncover much that's shocking. Damn!  The results will probably say I have ancestors from Scandinavia and parts of the UK.  Still, maybe I'll find a cousin or other relative who's taken the test too.  That might give me a reason to get a new email address.  LOL
