Although the in-dash pressure gauge looked fine, I could hear a vomp-vomp-vomp sound when driving at low speeds. I stopped to check what sounded like the front tire but it surely looked fine. Back in the car, it sounded like a flap of a re-skinned semi-truck tire was repeatedly hitting the cement.
Jay got out in the parking area on the roof of the mall. I wanted him to see what it looked like when the car was moving. I passed him and he noticed right away the noise was actually from the passenger side back.
I dug this stone out of the deep tread. That was it? It's next to a Canadian dime for comparison. I'm a few years shy of 50 years on the road and I never had this happen before. It was a relief knowing that I'd not be replacing a tire because my car still has less than 12,000 km on the odometer.
