Day 99 - Hibiscus flowers are a part of all our recent winters since retirement. Let's see, we've spotted them in Mexico, Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Dubai, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and now Argentina. I don't want to sound deranged but I've wondered if we're being stalked! (Actually, after consideration, I conclude that the flowers are the ones with stalks. How punny?)
I took this photo today as we were walking along an avenue in Buenos Aires. Rather than getting our results online and risking an email or clerical error, we asked the medical lab to print out our results on our COVID-19 antigen tests. Although that should've been an easy 20-minute wait, the technician wanted to insure they were done. She said we could come in two hours!
So, rather than return to the apartment and turn around again, we stayed near the lab. We went to several parks just blocks away. First, we visited Plaza Libertad and moved on to Plaza Lavalle near the famous theatres.
We got to enjoy the perfect temperatures and watch the other people (and dogs) in these park areas. We did go back a half hour early and got our negative test copies. We will use them tomorrow in order to board the MSC Musica cruise ship. It'll be our home for nine nights as mentioned yesterday.
