Day 81 (of our Winter 2022-23 trip) - Yesterday, I mentioned that we'd been in Buenos Aires for seven weeks already. I took this picture of the national Congress building during a walk last night. It feels great to be able to go outside on an enjoyable summer night. We're having a splendid, stress-free stay in the country.
Interestingly, we have made one new travel plan since arriving here. We decided we couldn't come this close to Brazil on our cruise around South America and miss it. So later this month, we are boarding an MSC cruise that departs and returns to this city. We have already arranged a tour of Rio de Janeiro for the one day that we're in that port. We also have several days on coastal beach resorts in Brazil. The Musica stops for one day in Montevideo, Uraguay when returning. We are grateful for such great chances to explore new regions.
