We cannot help but compare our experience to our go-to cruise line of the last quite a few years. Holland America has seen us a lot. We are just 10 points from being a 4-Star Mariner under their reward program. That takes a whole lot of nights to achieve.
However, this is our very first full day on an MSC cruise. This is an Italian cruise line that is expanding rapidly into other global markets. They are getting a rapid foothold in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. In addition, they are beginning to enter the US and Canadian markets this year. It's too soon to make a real comparison of their service, but I bet we'll be on other MSC cruises in the upcoming years.
We didn't get up until 8:30 am. That is pretty much normal for this whole winter. We won't be crossing any time zones and Brazil and Argentina are both two-hours ahread of east coast US time.
Somehow, it has already become 6:30 pm. That did include a whole lot of food and ship exploration. Of course, it included a nap.
