It'll be Winter Here But Not There!

The weather turned more normal here today. Visual confirmation of what an overcast sky looks like was quite frightening! And when I drove uptown, my car decided it needed to run the heater rather than the a/c to keep the cabin at 23°C. That seemed scary too.

So, naturally, I couldn't help but think a bit more about the upcoming winter.  Every winter is a completely different experience for us.  We are not like those who simply shift to another location after the autumn leaves turn brown.  Since 2014, we have headed out in different directions with different itineraries.

Our plans for this winter have been pretty firm for a while.  We know that it'll start when we board a cruise ship in Miami in mid-November.
