We gave the ducks to the guys in Richmond and they turned them around really quickly. We met on Sunday as Tim was on a paddling race over on the island yesterday.
After appetizers, we went out to the big park in front of the house and threw a ball around. It was a spectacular August day.
We also walked over to the dyke and were able to watch planes come and go at YVR.
Dinner itself was as special as they all are when Shinji's cooking. As it was Tim's birthday and he's a master baker, he made a Boston Cream Pie and brought it with him. Yum.
The ducks are already back in Vancouver's West End again! They surely made the loop quickly this time! It must be they really need the exercise after sitting around gathering dust for more than a year and a half. This is the third time they've switched homes in less than a month!
