The weather is great. We decided to visit Robert Burnaby Park. It's up on 16th Avenue and New Westminster ends at 10th Ave. However, the area is pretty close to home. We drove down Hill Road and discovered the off-leash dog area. We don't have a dog. We also found the Disc Golf course. We don't play that either. The walk was pleasant though.
And I learned some things. We saw a mason bee condo and I learned that mason bees don't make honey but are great pollinators. I looked up Disc Golf and read that it's played in about 40 countries and originated more than 100 years ago in Saskatchewan.
Although basketball was invented in Massachusetts, the inventor was a Canadian physical education teacher. What is it about Canadians and sports with baskets?
