Even though we've been here since Sunday evening, we are still in exploration mode. There's something quite intriguing about our old district. I definitely see a lot of unused potential. What a gem this area could be with a little scrubbing up! The old colonial architecture is intact, waiting for a facelift.
Even as is, it's rather quaint and beautiful. We've yet to get to the traditional tourist areas. However, if I were going to get a place here, I'd forgo the condo towers with a pool and opt for something authentic on a street with shady old trees.
