In the morning, we headed to the central market but by slightly different streets. We found a health food store that had incense for sale. Although it is Taj Mahal brand, it was made in Mexico. We're used to seeing things for sale in Canada as Chinese products. I've noticed that many things for sale in Mexico are made right here. Jay also found some curry powder and some tea in the same place.
In the evening we walked back to our fruit and vegetable shop. Again, we noticed how cheap food prices are here when compared to home. I'd estimate that we spent only about 30% of what we'd have paid in Canada.
So, as well as great weather, we find Mexico reasonably priced. Life is much more agreeable here than what we'd be experiencing in New Westminster now.
