We were a little surprised we didn't see many fresh prawns at the main, central market yesterday. I opened Google Maps and found that seafood such as prawns, crabs, and lobsters was sold by shrimp ladies not far from our apartment. We walked down our street, named Miguel Hidalgo.
It was easy to spot the canopies in the distance. There were at least eight different types and sizes of shrimp. Jay paid 160 pesos for one kilo, which works out to be approximately US $3.60 per pound.
On the way back, we walked up Zaragoza Street and bought two bags of fruit and vegetables at the place we discovered yesterday. There were a few more clouds than yesterday but the sky is such a deep blue here. The winters are generally dry.
In the evening, we walked towards the spires of a cathedral on the other side of our neighbourhood. It is a hilly area. Tonight doesn't feel as cool as yesterday and Google says it is currently 23°C.
