I don't like the bare engine of the now popular retro motorcycle designs. However, I definitely don't like the freakish covered styling of the more modern ones either. I can, sort of, say I like the Kawasaki Vulcan, even the toy 650cc cruising model. That's certainly enough engine for occasional riding. I don't want to own a bike I could not pick up if it ended up on its side!
The Vulcan S is liquid-cooled and has ABS brakes but is practically unchanged since 2015. I guess if they keep offering 'em that must mean they continue to sell. Canadian pricing seems pretty good too.
I'm glad I'm in Playa del Carmen, Mexico right now and cannot jump in the car and drive up to Burnaby Kawasaki.
