Last month, when we were connecting in Toronto for our flight to Cancun, I dropped my phone. My screen looked cracked and I was afraid to pull off the screen protector thinking that I'd make the situation worse. The ageing OnePlus 6 seemed to work well. Fast-forward five weeks: I yanked off my old screen protector to discover that it had the crack, not the phone!
Oneplus devices aren't common in Mexico and I couldn't find a new 6.28" that was close to fitting my phone in the neighbourhood shops. As you can see in the top photo, one saleswoman inadvertently took a selfie while checking.
I had changed our delivery address on Amazon.ca to our place in Mexico before we left Canada. I figured this would be a good time to try using my account internationally.
I had to switch to Amazon.com to create the order. I was disappointed to learn my Prime membership wouldn't allow for free shipping here. The screen protectors were only $7.99 but the shipping was an additional cost of $5.45. The cost was of no matter. Supply and demand meant I didn't mind the extra few bucks as long as I could get access to them.
I ordered this two-pack on December 11th. The package was sent from Kentucky and arrived via DHL delivery today.
