Did you keep your windows open for the whole day?
Day 61 - Not only is it the last day of the year, but it's the last day of the decade. Both these periods of time have been pretty good to us.
Last year, we were nearly burned in celebrations on the beach in Bali.
A decade ago we were getting ready to usher in a new decade in New York City.
Things didn't slow down much between these two dates. Only once were we in Sri Lanka for the New Year during this decade. Halfway through the teens, we took our early-retirement and continued on continuing on. New Year's Eves in Puerto Vallarta and Luxor were quite memorable. (I can check all the years I've done the blog by heading to the bottom or the page on the web, not mobile, version and clicking on Decembers going back to 2003.)
Tonight it seems like we'll stay home and watch things on television. This choice seems to have surprised the local creatures.
