Day 121 - If you'd have asked me a month ago about saving digital files in black and white, I would've said it was silly. It felt like a step backwards in modern image manipulation.
Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself;
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)
This comes from Walt Whitman's, Song of Myself.
I have noticed that my Flickr photostream requires an occasional break from colour. There are indeed some photographs which tend to say more with less, in this case, with a mere addition of monochrome.
I'll no longer think of B&W photography as the oasis of snooty showoffs or precocious critics.
