Before we even got to one of the small kiosks located around town, we met a man with a van on the street. We talked to him for a bit and realized he'd probably be a good driver. He looked a little older and not like the type to drive recklessly.
We gave him hope, took his business card, and continued on our way. It was a bit of a ruse as we already knew the going rates for a driver and van. We doubled back and cinched the deal for two days at around $US 90. He pays for the gas and all parking. He'll take us to the locations we want and he will not require we buy him a room in Lovina.
"Okay," we said, "See you on Wednesday morning at 8:30 am."

Our driver will not accept plastic, so we needed to revisit our HSBC bank machine down in Kuta. It is not the closest machine, but it's in a great location to watch the sunset. It is quite a ways from here so we decided to walk the beach road to it and take a Grab car to return as darkness set in.
We had to take out over a million, actually IR 1300000.00 precisely, to hand over to him after our trip. The number looks big but is not really much for two complete days of his time and use of his shiny crossover vehicle. We withdrew the money. Then, we purchased mini-McFlurries. This is our habit when making an ATM withdrawal.

The sunset was interesting.
