Day 48 - Domestic travel within Malaysia is so simple. Today, we started turning some plans from last winter into reality, by heading to Borneo Malaysia. Our flight was at 10:10 AM which means we didn't need to get up much too early. One really only needs to get to the airport about 45 minutes before the scheduled departure. Air Asia delivers on its mandate: Now Everyone Can Fly. I figure our 2 hour and 40-minute flight here cost less than $45 because we purchased vouchers early.
As we arrived at the Hotel Sri Iskandar before the 2:00 PM check-in time, we walked around and found some lunch.
As I said on Facebook, we are much closer to the Phillippines than Thailand today. As we are so much farther east, yet still in the same time zone, the sun rises and sets about an hour earlier than we are used to.
