Day 05 - We ate breakfast while passing through the Straits of Messina. A bit early, at around 11:30 we entered the harbour and slowly docked right downtown. The Godfather movies were shot in villages just a bit south of here. We popped off the ship among the first just for a quick look-see of the main square. Later in the day, we did climb up to the big Duomo as seen from the docked ship. It was quite a hike up the hill but afforded a nice view. Coming down was not easy either and I think Jay's legs are a little sore this evening.
We're getting used to life on board the ship and thoroughly enjoy the food, both casual and the fine dining in the evenings.
