Day 06 - We woke up anchored off from the island of Gozo, Malta. After breakfast, we boarded tender boats to take us to the harbour there. Waiting for the boat took about 5 minutes and traveling in the Westerdam's little craft took less than 15. We'd attended an instructional presentation last night and knew all we wanted to do was to take bus #301 to Victoria the main city of Victoria. We found the public buses just after all the hop-on-hop-off and private tour buses. We got on a #303 which we didn't know was a more scenic routing which took a full half hour.

I thought it was a cute little place and we spent around three hours walking the Citadel and main square area. We stopped and I had a local Cisk lager and Jay had fresh orange juice before walking back to the bus station. They have very efficient transportation and we had a lovely morning.

Our ship left Gozo at 5 PM and it took about 5 hours to dock in Valletta on Malta Island. We watched as the ship docked in the darkness. We will spend the night and entire day tomorrow here. By the looks, it will be fun exploring this largely fortified city.
