Day 18 - Kelaphfonia, here we come! Actually, we had to change our clocks to Greek time, so by the time we eventually got out of bed, we were alongside the dock. It was an easy walk from the port to town. When we walked down to the fishing boats and the well-designed esplanade, we spotted little fishes and big turtles.
So the gift shops had toy turtles, olive soap, and the ubiquitous shirts, caps, and towels. The temperature climbed quickly to around 38C this morning. We walked to the other end of the city and back in just a few hours. So, we returned to the comfort of the Westerdam for lunch.
Our standard operating procedures now include a nap from around 2:00 to 3:30 pm. As is the habit now, we sat on the Deck 3 lounge chairs and watched the coast for an hour as we left port at 6 o'clock.
