Last year we bought a replacement tent and were away in July on a 2000-kilometer road trip to Bella Coola, BC and back. We were travelling for only five days, but they provided many very memorable experiences.
Isn't doing activities which are memorable just about the most important goal in life? Really, who cares that you worked very hard for an extra 10 years? That might allow for a really nice funeral, but you probably won't be able to see much of it!
We've got to think about which little road trip to take this summer. We can go midweek and there's no need to request time off. Those points should make it easier to come up with an itinerary which includes a few as of yet un-visited campgrounds. We have never driven the Icefields Parkway in Alberta. Its start near Lake Louise is only about 800 kilometers from here. Hum ...
