We wanted to buy some fruit. This is one thing lacking when comparing our time here to that spent in tropical locations. We did get bananas, oranges, and guava at the market behind the train station today.
After, we also stopped at a pharmacy. We have got to remember to buy about 10 tubes of Ketofan Topical Gel to take back to Canada when we leave in the spring. It's great for sore ankles and knees.
In addition, we also found a spice shop we will probably start visiting as the owner was super friendly. Unfortunately a tourist on a short visit to Egypt may only get a chance to interact with the annoying calish and motorboat drivers. There are some really nice people and if here for a longer period of time it's easy to run into them. The following are just a little evidence of our morning outing.
I continue to add photos to my permanent collections. Of course, even ones that don't make it in my blog are also stored on my Flickr account. You may enjoy seeing the collection from this winter. They are in the order in which they were taken. This means the most recent are at the very end of the album.
